Wedding photography: Teaser, Highlight Film and Full Film: Wedding Video Deliverables Explained

When you book a videographer, you will hear several terms. Here is what each one usually means.

Teaser

A very short clip, often under a minute, made to share quickly on social media after the wedding.

Highlight film

A few minutes long, edited with music and the best moments of the day. This is the film most couples rewatch.

Full film or documentary edit

A longer edit that follows the ceremony and key rituals in order, often including speeches and vows in full.

Raw footage

Unedited clips from the day. Some videographers include them, and some do not, so ask.

What to confirm

  • Which of these are included in your package
  • Expected delivery time for each
